By accessing and using story4today ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

story4today provides AI-powered personalized bedtime stories and reading progress tracking for children of all ages. The Service includes:
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
Parents or legal guardians may create profiles for children under their care. You are responsible for all activity under your account and any child profiles you create.
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You agree to:
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees. All prices are in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT where required.
Subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled. You will be charged the then-current rate. We will notify you of any price changes at least 30 days in advance.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods. Credits purchased are non-refundable.
Under EU consumer protection law, you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided you have not used the Service during this period.
Important: By generating stories or using the Service, you expressly waive your right to the 14-day cooling-off period, as you are requesting immediate performance of digital content.
We may offer refunds on a case-by-case basis for technical issues or service failures. Contact support@story4today.com within 7 days of the issue.

The Service, including all text, graphics, logos, software, and design, is owned by story4today and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Stories generated for you through the Service are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share stories with your family but may not republish, sell, or commercially exploit them without our express written consent.
You retain ownership of any personal information and content you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use this information to provide and improve the Service.
Stories are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for quality and age-appropriate content:
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any interruption or loss resulting from Service unavailability.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with GDPR.
You may terminate your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support. Upon termination, you lose access to all content and data associated with your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any reason with 30 days' notice. Immediate termination may occur for serious violations.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, story4today shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless story4today from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription for a pro-rata refund of unused time.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
